Memento. Takes the title as THE most confusing movie I have ever seen. The plot is so twisted that it's almost impossible to figure out. First there are 2 seperate plots that later merge into a single one. One plot is a flashback shot backwards (meaning scene 10, then 9, then 8) and the other plot is current time, that you only see in between flashbacked backward scenes. Sound confusing? It is. I'd have enough trouble figuring it out if it went forwards.

“Girlfriends are the greatest.
They are the world.
Why do we love them?
Because of the way their hair always smells so good.
Because of the way their kiss solves every problem.
Because they are the most beautiful person in the world.
Because her head always finds the perfect spot on your shoulder.
Because her tears make you want to cry, no matter how manly you are.
And because she is the greatest thing that could happen to you...
And you know it.”

Why am I posting smack dab in the middle of exam week? I have not the faintest clue. I guess I'm just bored. I'm done studying for comtech so yeah. Can't wait for this semester to be over.

He who knows not, and knows that he knows not, is a child, teach him;
He who knows, and knows not that he knows, is asleep, wake him;
He who knows, and knows that he knows, is wise, follow him.”

I'm 28th place on the list of 16 and under top badminton players in Ontario... meaning that there are 27 other people out there who are younger than the age of 16 that could whoop my butt across the badminton floor... how reassuring. But at TCMS, I'm in the SSAF, which has significantly lower standards AND I'm playing mixed doubles this year... haha, E.C. and I are gonna ROCK the mixed doubles.
In other news... Mr. Carnevale. was last seen sitting at a table outside the lounge screaming "Buy Shabneez!" in reference to our TCMS student body president... that somehow doesn't sound right.
Some idiot thought it'd be real smart to shove something down the sinks in the guy's washroom, and flooding it with water since the drain was stuck.

In response to Elaine's blog's response to my other post Yes, war brings economical opportunites. But doesn't that only apply IF the war isn't being fought over or on Canadian territory? With the use of nuclear/chemical/biological weapons, who's to say that Iraq won't decide to just attack the US and all its allies on their home soil?

Everyone's talking about how Canada shouldn't join the US in this whole Iraq thing, and that it's none of Canada's business, and all that stuff. Well, to all you people out there who think that... 70% of Canadians think that too. Therefore, maybe it's time we stopped saying about how we don't like it, and find out WHY our government is doing it despite the 70% majority.

"I was parked in front of the mall wiping off my car. I had just come from the car wash and was waiting for my wife to get out of work. Coming my way from across the parking lot was what society would consider a bum. From the looks of him, he had no car, no home, no clean clothes, and no money. There are times when you feel generous but there are other times that you just don't want to be bothered. This was on of the "Don't want to be bothered" times.
"I hope he doesn't ask me for money," I thought He didn't. He came and sat on the curb in front of the bus stop and he didn't look like he could have enough money to even ride the bus.
After a few minutes he spoke. "That's a very pretty car," he said. He was ragged but had an air of dignity around him. His scraggly blond beard kept more that his face ward. I said, "Thanks," and continued wiping off my car.
He sat there quietly as I worked. The expected plea for money never came. As the silence between us widened something inside said, 'ask him if he needs any help.' I was sure that he would say yes, but I held true to the inner voice.
"Do you need any help?" I asked. He answered in three simple but profound words that I shall never forget. We often look for wisdom in great men and women. We expect it from those of higher learning and accomplishments. I expected nothing but an out stretched grimy hand. He spoke the three words that shook me.
"Don't we all?" he said.
I needed help. Maybe not for bus fare or a place to sleep, but I needed help. I reached in my wallet and gave him not only enough for bus fare but enough to get a warm meal and shelter for the day. Those three little words still ring true. No matter how much you have, no matter how much you have accomplished, you need help too. No matter how little you have, no matter how loaded you are with problems, even without money or a place to sleep, you can give help. Even if it's just a compliment, you can give that.
You never know when you may see someone that appears to have it all. They are waiting on you to give them what they don't have. A different perspective on life, a glimpse at something beautiful, a respite from daily chaos, that only you through a torn world can see.
Maybe the man was just a homeless stranger wondering the streets. Maybe he was more than that. Maybe he was sent by a power that is great and wise to minister to a soul too comfortable in themselves.
Maybe GOD looked down, called an Angel, dressed him like a bum, then said, "Go minister to that man cleaning the car, that man needs help."
"Don't We All?""
I heard this on the radio. No matter who you are, are what you have, we all need help in some way or another.

How does Mr. T schedule a badminton practice in the small gym knowing that the courts are like 2/3s of what a standard sized court is... for that matter, how does he schedule volleyball in there as well? Or practically any other sport?!

Just saw Catch Me If You Can with Omair and Co. It was 2 and some odd hours long, but it was an awesome movie nonetheless. Some odd girl was screaming in the seat in front of me before the movie started. And speaking of seats, outs were located somewhere at the front of the cinema because the people were seated in such a way that there weren't any 4 seats together until you got to the first few rows. Why can't people all sit next to each other instead of insisting on leaving like ONE seat between themselves and the stranger next to them in the row. Like you'd see 3 people together, then 1 empty seat, then another 5 people sitting together, and then 1 empty seat, then a few other people and then one empty seat, and then some last few people and another empty seat. If all those people just shifted over 1 seat, there'd be enough room for the 4 of us to sit together. Blah. It was a good movie in any case.

I love this quote. FAQs can be really amusing sometimes. Take for example these quotes I found from SSB FAQs:
Another great arena. You're fighting in (a strangely oxygen-rich sector of) outer space, on the top of Great Fox (Fox's starship).
You'll get some warning, though, because the door will open and light will shine through a few seconds before the Pokemon pop out. Oh yeah, the Pokemon can also be triggered by some retard walking into the door.
Comes out, shoots "blasts of solar energy" (actually, they look more like greenish crap to me, but what do I know about Pokemon).
Very Easy: Recommended for temporarily blind players.
Easy: You might have to actually pick up your controller on this mode.
This one's basically the same with every character: run through the stage's levels, which alternate left-to-right, till you get to the end. You have one minute on the timer (this time constraint shouldn't be a problem unless you're incredibly slow or the controller's not plugged in), and you get points for every second left on the timer after you finish.
Suicide, if need be (I'm talking about in the game, folks).

Alright, now that I'm able to post again... I've completely forgotten how I used to do this. Oh yes, there's the quote.
“Believe in yourself and always stand tall
Those who have doubts are those that will fall
Enjoy what you do and remember to smile
It's the hard work and effort that make it worthwhile
Remain focused on what it is you wish to achieve
Remember dedication, commitment and to always believe!”
